AVE is designed around local Mac projects and explicit provider choices. The download page links directly to the official AVE file.

Local-first editing

AVE stores project folders, imported media, local analysis, timeline execution, and exports on your Mac by default.

Explicit external providers

Installed assistants, custom APIs, and BYO generation services are optional connections. You choose them in the app before using them.

Encrypted provider secrets

BYO provider keys are stored through the desktop app using Electron secure storage rather than plaintext app settings.

Trusted Mac download

AVE 1.2.3 is distributed through the public AVE GitHub Releases page for Apple Silicon Macs.

Focused app package

The desktop package is checked before release so development assets, demo-only files, and internal build output stay out of the app download.
